Welcome to Edit Lobby!
By continuing to use our services, you agree to the following terms of service, designed to ensure a smooth editing experience
For any clarifications, please contact our support team.
1. Footage Submission Requirements
Clients must provide pre-selected, clearly marked footage (timestamps, file names, or clip references) along with a complete brief.
All submitted footage must be sorted into clearly labelled folders and files must be correctly named/numbered in line with the shared brief or shot list, with timestamps as per script where required.
Submission of large volumes of unfiltered raw footage without clear direction, or footage that is not sorted and correctly labelled as above, may:
• Result in extended turnaround timelines
• Be treated as additional scope, subject to additional charges
Edit Lobby reserves the right to pause, delay, or re-scope projects where sufficient direction is not provided.
2. Footage Retention
All raw footage and project files are stored for 30 days after final delivery.
After this period, all assets will be permanently deleted unless a written extension is agreed upon in advance.
Clients are responsible for maintaining their own backups of all submitted and delivered assets.
3. Service Package Validity
Purchased passes must be utilized within the duration of the active plan. Unused services will expire at the end of the validity period and will not be carried forward unless explicitly stated.
4. Turnaround Time
5. Rush Requests
Same-day or accelerated turnaround requests are subject to availability and will incur a rush fee.
All rush fees will be communicated and approved before work begins.
6. Revisions & Feedback
Each project includes up to 2 rounds of revisions, provided feedback is submitted within 14 days of first draft delivery.
All revisions must be submitted as comments/annotations on the relevant Frame.io link. Clients are requested to consolidate all feedback into a single, complete round of comments rather than sending feedback in multiple separate installments. A revision round is considered submitted once consolidated feedback is received on Frame.io. Additional comments sent after a round has been submitted and work has commenced will be treated as part of the next revision round (subject to the 2-round limit) or as a new request if rounds are exhausted.
Please note: An active subscription is strictly required to utilize this 14-day feedback window. If your pass expires, access to revisions is paused until the subscription is renewed. Feedback submitted after 14 days, or on an expired account, will be treated as a new request.
Revision categories:
• Correction: Fixing errors or minor issues (e.g., typos, alignment)
• Change: Adjustments within scope (e.g., trims, pacing, text swaps)
• New Scope: Structural, motion design, or creative changes (billed separately)
The updated version of the video will be delivered in 24-48 hours after all feedback is submitted.
Feedback submitted after 14 days will be treated as a new request.
7. Out-of-Scope Revisions
Projects are executed strictly as per the approved brief.
The following fall outside the included revision scope and will be billed separately as a new scope of work:
• Structural changes to the edit or storyline.
• Creative direction changes.
• Motion design or animation changes.
• Any request that significantly alters the approved concept or brief.
These will be treated as a new scope of work and quoted separately before execution.
8. Video Specifications
Video format (e.g., 9:16, 16:9, 1:1) must be confirmed at the time of briefing.
Any change in format after project initiation will be treated as:
A new request, or
An additional deliverable, subject to additional fees
Final deliverables are shared via Frame.io or an agreed delivery platform.
For one-off projects, communication is conducted via email.
For bulk projects (5+ videos), communication may take place via WhatsApp or LobbyOS.
Edit Lobby is not obligated to send formal summary emails unless agreed in advance.
For brief submissions specifically, see Clause 18 — all briefs must be submitted via LobbyOS.
Clients retain ownership of all submitted assets.
Full ownership of final deliverables is transferred to the client upon complete payment.
Unless opted out in writing, Edit Lobby reserves the right to use completed work for:
Portfolio
Marketing
Social media
Clients confirm they have the necessary rights and licenses for all submitted materials.
Clients agree to indemnify Edit Lobby against any claims arising from misuse of third-party content.
Full payment must be made before commencement of work, unless agreed otherwise.
All:

require upfront payment.
All payments are non-refundable once a pass is activated.

Be subject to approval
Incur additional fees
Brief Submissions & Project Queue
All briefs must be submitted through the Lobby dashboard (LobbyOS) to be considered valid and entered into the production queue. Briefs sent via email, WhatsApp, or any other channel will not be accepted or actioned.
Exception: in the event of a verified technical issue preventing dashboard access, clients should notify the team, who will assist in resolving the issue or, where necessary, accept the brief through an alternate route on a case-by-case basis.
Only 1 active project may be in production at any given time per Simple or Complex video package.
Clients are entirely responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing their submissions within the 2-month window to fully utilize their package credits.
Clients are encouraged to plan and space out brief submissions across their plan validity period to allow the team the standard 48–72 hour turnaround per video, as outlined in Clause 4. Multiple briefs submitted in rapid succession, or briefs submitted in the final days before pass expiry, may not be completed within the standard turnaround window before expiry. In such cases, Edit Lobby will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request, but does not guarantee delivery within the remaining validity period — which could result in the forfeiture of credits.
All briefs must be submitted within the active pass duration.
Clients may submit multiple briefs simultaneously; however, only one project will be active in production at any given time per Simple or Complex video package. Where multiple briefs are submitted, Edit Lobby will queue and activate them sequentially, moving to the next brief once the previous project is complete.
Incomplete briefs or missing direction may delay project initiation.
Briefs submitted near pass expiry that cannot be completed within 48-72 hours may be forfeited.
Clients are responsible for planning submissions accordingly, including submitting briefs with sufficient lead time; Edit Lobby is not liable for unused credits that result from late or clustered brief submissions (see Clause 20).
Edit Lobby's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific project. Edit Lobby will follow the reference material and creative direction approved by the client at the briefing stage. Where the delivered video is consistent with the approved reference and brief, a subsequent change in the client's subjective preference or creative direction does not constitute an error on Edit Lobby's part. Any resulting changes will be treated as a new scope of work or an additional revision under Clauses 6–7, and billed accordingly.
Edit Lobby is not liable for:
• Indirect damages.
• Lost revenue.
• Missed deadlines.
• Reputational impact.
To ensure consistency, fairness, and operational efficiency, the following terms apply to all video credits:
1. Credit Validity: All video credits must be utilized within the active billing cycle. Unused credits do not automatically rollover.
Extensions Due to Service Delays: In cases where delays are directly caused by our team and prevent the utilization of credits, a maximum of 2 unused video credits may be extended for one additional week.
Extensions Not Caused by Service Delays: If unused credits are not a result of delays on our end, an extension of up to 2 unused video credits may be granted only upon same-day renewal of services. Under this condition, clients will be allowed two active projects simultaneously for a period of one week to facilitate usage.
No Further Extensions: Beyond the conditions outlined above, no additional extensions, rollovers, or exceptions will be provided under any circumstances.
Client Responsibility: Clients are responsible for planning, submitting, and managing their projects within the allocated timelines to fully utilize their credits.
As a courtesy, Edit Lobby may share reminders about unused video credits during the active billing cycle to help clients get full value from their pass. This is offered on a best-effort basis only and does not shift responsibility for credit utilisation away from the client. Once a pass has expired, unused credits will not be rolled over or extended except at Edit Lobby's sole discretion, evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and subject to same-day renewal or other conditions as outlined above.
Projects are non-cancellable once a brief is submitted.
Passes are non-refundable once activated.
Unused services will expire and will not be carried forward.
22.1 AI-Generated Content
AI-generated visuals or clips are:
Not included by default
Charged separately based on usage
22.2 B-Roll Sourcing
B-roll sourcing is included only when a clear brief and direction is provided.
Exploratory or undefined requests may:
Increase timelines
Be treated as additional scope
Timely delivery depends on:
Clear briefs
Structured feedback
Organized assets
Edit Lobby is not responsible for delays caused by:
Unstructured submissions
Missing inputs
Excessive raw footage without direction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India and the United States.
Disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in the city of Edit Lobby’s registration.
A pass is considered complete immediately upon first draft delivery of the final video included in the pass, regardless of the remaining validity period.
No additional video requests or add-ons will be accepted after the first draft of the final video has been delivered.
Any add-on requests must be submitted while the pass is still active and before the final credit is used (i.e., when at least one credit remains).
New references, examples, or inspiration shared after the first draft has been delivered will be considered outside the original project scope. Any revisions based on new references will be treated as a new video request and billed accordingly.
We are committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, and collaborative working relationship with all clients.
We kindly request that all communication remains courteous and constructive to ensure a smooth working relationship.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue our services at our sole discretion if circumstances make it impractical to continue the engagement. In such cases, any applicable refund will be processed in accordance with our refund policy.
